Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a multi-account feature to beta testers on Android. This feature will allow users to add an additional account on the same device directly from within WhatsApp Settings.

According to WABetaInfo, the feature is currently available to a limited number of beta testers. However, it is expected to be rolled out to more users in the coming weeks.

To use the multi-account feature, users will need to update their WhatsApp app to the latest beta version. Once the update is installed, users will see a new “Accounts” section in the Settings menu. From there, they can add an additional account by tapping on the “Add Account” button.

Once an additional account is added, users will be able to switch between accounts by tapping on their profile picture in the top right corner of the app. The multi-account feature will also allow users to send and receive messages from both accounts simultaneously.

In addition to the multi-account feature, WhatsApp is also rolling out a redesigned settings interface and a redesigned profile tab. The redesigned settings interface will give users a more modern and user-friendly experience when navigating through the app’s various options. The new interface is more organized and easier to understand, with clear labels and icons.

Finally, the new update also includes a new feature that allows users to manage their conversations from multiple accounts with a single app. This means that users can now seamlessly switch between their personal and work accounts, or between different language accounts, without having to open multiple apps.

Overall, the new update to WhatsApp brings a number of new features and improvements that will make the app more user-friendly and efficient. The multi-account feature, redesigned settings interface, and redesigned profile tab are all welcome additions that will make it easier for users to manage their WhatsApp accounts.

The multi-account feature is a welcome addition to WhatsApp, as it allows users to manage multiple accounts more easily. This can be useful for people who use WhatsApp for both personal and professional purposes, or for people who have multiple WhatsApp accounts for different languages or regions.

The rollout of the multi-account feature is still in its early stages, so it is possible that there are some bugs or limitations. However, it is a promising feature that could make WhatsApp even more useful for users.
