NSYNC Reunion Tour 2024: Is It Really Happening?

NSYNC VMAs, NSYNC Reunion

Millennials, who grew up loving *NSYNC, were heartbroken when they said “Bye, Bye, Bye” all those years ago. But after two decades of manifesting new music and praying for a reunion, their dreams finally came true when the five guys got together for a VMAs appearance and announced their first new song in over 20 years would be part of the third Trolls movie.

Fans of the band were thrilled to witness their long-awaited reunion at this week’s MTV VMAs, where they appeared on stage to present an award to Taylor Swift. The excitement reached new heights when Justin Timberlake offered a sneak peek behind the scenes, showing himself alongside his bandmates Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and JC Chasez as they recorded their first new song in over two decades.

NSYNC’s reunion at the VMAs

*NSYNC’s reunion at the VMAs sent fans into a frenzy, and even Taylor Swift speculated that something more may be in the works. As she accepted her award for Best Pop Video, Swift asked, “Are you guys doing something? What’s going to happen now? They’re gonna do something and I need to know what it is!”

However, it seems that a full band tour won’t be happening. Instead, there’s news that one of the five band members, Justin Timberlake will be embarking on a solo tour next year.

The group, consisting of Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Justin Timberlake, has collaborated on music for the first time in over two decades. Their latest single, “Better Place,” is set to drop on September 29 and will also be featured in the upcoming movie “Trolls Band Together.” It’s worth noting that the band hasn’t released a new album since “Celebrity” back in 2001.

*NSYNC has reunited a few times since their disbandment, performing at the 2013 VMAs and receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018. While *NSYNC is not planning a reunion tour, according to Billboard, the band is missing out on a potential $100 million in revenue. Fans are disappointed that *NSYNC will not be touring together, but they are still excited for the band’s new song and to see what the future holds for them.
