Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes – May 10, 2024

Tony Chambers unveiled 13 minutes of thrilling footage from “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” at CinemaCon. Set for release on May 10, 2024, the film from 20th Century Studios continues the iconic saga in a future where apes rule and humans lurk in the darkness. With Wes Ball at the helm, the story follows a brave young ape’s quest that challenges his knowledge of history and his society’s foundations. This chapter marks the franchise’s debut on epic IMAX screens.

Young Woman and the Sea – May 31, 2024

Disney presents “Young Woman and the Sea,” hitting theaters on May 31, 2024, dramatizing Trudy Ederle’s historic swim across the English Channel. The CinemaCon crowd caught a first glimpse via a trailer introduced by Jerry Bruckheimer, starring Daisy Ridley as Ederle. Born to immigrant parents in 1905 New York, Ederle, with her sister and coaches’ backing, braves a 21-mile journey from France to England, challenging the tides of history.

Inside Out 2 | June 14, 2024

Disney and Pixar’s ‘Inside Out 2‘ sees the return of Amy Poehler as Joy, venturing into the teenage life of Riley with an emotional makeover at “headquarters”. Directed by Kelsey Mann, the sequel introduces new emotions – Anxiety (Maya Hawke), Envy (Ayo Edebiri), Ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos), and Embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser), alongside the original emotions. Premiering June 14, Poehler also unveiled the first 35 minutes at CinemaCon, earning the Vanguard Award.

Captain America: Brave New World – February 14, 2025

At CinemaCon, Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, revealed insights into ‘Captain America: Brave New World’. Drawing parallels with ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ the film avoids alien encounters. Anthony Mackie, reprising Captain America, enticed fans with a sneak peek and behind-the-scenes anecdotes. The film, directed by Julius Onah, features a diverse ensemble including Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Shira Haas, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford, arriving in theaters on February 14th, 2025.
