Meet Your New Robot Stylist: Ballie’s Got Fashion Tips Now!

Robot Stylist

Samsung’s adorable little home robot, Ballie, is finally hitting the shelves this summer—and it’s coming with a major glow-up, thanks to Google’s Gemini AI. Yup, Ballie isn’t just a cute rolling orb anymore. It can now chat, help manage your home, and even give you fashion tips. Talk about leveling up.

Smarter Than Ever, Thanks to Gemini

Ballie’s brain just got an upgrade. With Google’s Gemini AI integrated, this bot can hold actual conversations, help you adjust your lighting, plan your day, and greet your guests. (We’re still not sure how it’s opening the door without arms, but we’re vibing with the idea.)

The coolest part? Ballie can now suggest outfits in the morning. If you’ve ever stood in front of your closet feeling clueless, Ballie might suggest a bold shirt or the perfect accessory. It’s basically your tiny fashion stylist on wheels.

A Long Journey from CES to Your Living Room

Ballie first rolled into our lives back in 2020 at the CES tech event, looking like a sci-fi dream come true—small, round, and kind of adorable. At the time, most of us thought it was just a fun concept that would fade away, like so many other show-floor robots. But Ballie stuck around, made repeat appearances, and now, after four years, it’s finally becoming real, launching in the US and South Korea this summer.

But Do We Need a Home Robot?

That’s the big question. Amazon’s Astro didn’t exactly fly off the shelves. Most people weren’t sold on the whole personal robot thing. But times have changed. AI is smarter now, and even Apple is rumoured to be entering the robotics game soon.

Samsung is betting that a helpful, friendly, fashion-savvy robot is exactly what we need. And with Gemini under the hood, Ballie might be too cool to ignore.

No word yet on the cost, though. Fingers crossed it’s not more than your rent.
